The Foil Drive Assist MAX stands as the flagship model in hybrid electric assist foiling, delivering the ultimate combination of power, endurance, and versatility. True to its name, the Assist MAX offers maximum thrust, extended ride time, and adaptable performance across a range of conditions and rider styles.

The complete kit includes everything you need to transform your existing board and hydrofoil into a high-performance electric-assisted setup:

  • A Universal Mast Adaptor compatible with 99% of foil masts
  • A V2 Motor with a standard 20cm cable or the more efficient High Power V2 Motor
  • Bluetooth connectivity for seamless pairing with the Foil Drive mobile app
You can tailor your setup further by selecting your preferred battery from the following options:
  • MAX High Power Battery
  • MAX Power Battery
  • MAX Sport Battery
  • MAX Travel Battery
The Assist MAX is the ideal choice for riders seeking extra push—whether due to heavier weight, smaller boards, or low-volume foils—as well as those aiming for longer sessions and maximum freedom in how and where they foil. From surf and wing to downwind, wake, or flatwater cruising, the Assist MAX handles it all with ease.

Note: Boards with carbon foil tracks may experience signal issues. For optimal performance, consider using our External Antenna.

When compared to the standard Two Blade Propeller system, the NEW Three Blade Propeller system improves performance by:
  • Increased low end thrust
  • More torque at lower RPM, avoiding propeller cavitation under high load
  • More effective surface driving when the props breach the surface
  • A smoother, quieter ride
It is specifically designed for riders who require more low end torque, whether this is due to using a low volume board, a smaller or higher aspect foil than normal, or being a heavier rider.

Visually, the board is truly stunning: smooth shape, refined finish — it definitely stands out on the beach, and the feedback from other riders clearly confirms it.

On the water, I was blown away by its lightness and responsiveness. Even though I’m still at an intermediate level, the transition from my previous 140L board went smoothly. I managed to take off in light conditions despite tricky wind, and that was with a smaller foil (switching from a 1800 to a 1370).
