Foil Drive Assist Max Batteries


Take your foiling to unprecedented heights with the MAX High Power Battery, the ultimate evolution in our High Power Range, designed exclusively for the Assist MAX System. Utilizing cutting-edge battery technology, this powerhouse packs significantly more capacity into the same compact size as the current MAX Power Battery, just 100g heavier.

The Foil Drive MAX Power Battery is the second largest battery with 498Wh capacity. This offers the longest run time for those looking for high power performance.

The Foil Drive MAX Sport Battery is the smaller, lighter MAX battery with 332Wh capacity. This offers Assist MAX users the ability to reduce the weight of their install for those riders looking for ultimate performance at the cost of reduced runtime.

The MAX Travel Battery breaks down into three smaller sections for approved airline travel with 2 parts being 129.6wh and one part at 97.2wh. With just a few simple screws, the battery reassembles quickly and easily and can stay complete for storage, usage and charging.

Most airlines around the world will allow a person to carry 2x 100-160wh batteries, some do require pre-approval first though.

All Gen2 Foil Drive batteries are certified IP68 rated for increased protection and peace of mind against water and dust.

The single main power plug contains larger connectors that provide power to the Foil Drive unit and smaller connectors for charging the battery. The included dust caps provides extra protection during storage & transport.

Visually, the board is truly stunning: smooth shape, refined finish — it definitely stands out on the beach, and the feedback from other riders clearly confirms it.

On the water, I was blown away by its lightness and responsiveness. Even though I’m still at an intermediate level, the transition from my previous 140L board went smoothly. I managed to take off in light conditions despite tricky wind, and that was with a smaller foil (switching from a 1800 to a 1370).
