If you loved the M1 but found it a bit heavy or grunty, you’ll LOVE the M1-X. Designed with the same dynamic and efficient characteristics as the M1, the M1-X features a lighter canopy material, which reduces the overall weight of the wing and adds an element of forgiveness, while still retaining our signature stiff Dyneema frame.

The significant weight reduction allows the M1-X to flag out and park exactly where you want it while surfing the waves. The reduced canopy weight, combined with our ultra-rigid frame and new full-carbon ergo boom handles, makes the M1-X a true standout in our range for those seeking pure performance.

Dyneema® Composite Fabric performance frame:

  • 20% reduction in Leading Edge diameter = higher efficiency, less drag
  • 30% higher pressure = stiffer, rigid, more aerodynamic frame
  • Ultra-lightweight fabric (made of flexible non-woven composite laminates which are reinforced with Dyneema ® fibres).
  • 15x stronger than steel (provides the highest tear and tensile strength of any competing fabric on a weight-by-weight and thickness basis).
  • 100% Waterproof – doesn’t increase in weight when in use

Canopy:

Voga: a great success — as beautiful to look at as it is to ride.

Visually, the board is truly stunning: smooth shape, refined finish — it definitely stands out on the beach, and the feedback from other riders clearly confirms it.

On the water, I was blown away by its lightness and responsiveness. Even though I’m still at an intermediate level, the transition from my previous 140L board went smoothly. I managed to take off in light conditions despite tricky wind, and that was with a smaller foil (switching from a 1800 to a 1370).
