Foil Drive Fusion 860 Battery

Foil Drive’s most powerful and longest-lasting battery.

 

The Fusion 860 Battery delivers 40% more thrust and up to 2× the runtime of a MAX Power Battery, thanks to its 43-volt system and 860 Wh capacity. Expect single-hour to multi-hour sessions in a compact, streamlined form.

Its one-piece molded design — integrating the battery and nose cone — improves water flow, durability, and optimal weight balance over the foil’s center of lift.

The intelligent Bluetooth BMS provides accurate live data to the V3 Controller (percentage, status, alerts). The battery also pairs with the Foil Drive App, allowing you to name your batteries, track health, view real-time SoC… and even monitor your surf camera and battery status without lifting a finger.

Internal thermal management ensures consistent power throughout the entire discharge curve, delivering smooth and predictable thrust from start to finish.

With the included Battery Caddy, transport and maintenance are effortless. The caddy can automatically discharge the battery to storage levels, or you can speed up the process using the USB-A and USB-C ports to charge your phone, laptop, or Foil Drive controller.

The Fusion 860 Battery requires the 43 V charger provided with your Fusion system. Average charge time is 1 hr 45, with an innovative Storage Mode that limits charging to preserve long-term battery health (recommended storage level: 30–60% SoC).

Visually, the board is truly stunning: smooth shape, refined finish — it definitely stands out on the beach, and the feedback from other riders clearly confirms it.

On the water, I was blown away by its lightness and responsiveness. Even though I’m still at an intermediate level, the transition from my previous 140L board went smoothly. I managed to take off in light conditions despite tricky wind, and that was with a smaller foil (switching from a 1800 to a 1370).
